Draw on 3D Tooth Chart

Draw on 3D Tooth Chart

The Draw Tool can be helpful to note uncommon findings or things like lingual wires and chipped teeth, which don't have graphics. It can also aid in patient education.

From within Patient's Chart Module in the upper right, click on the "Draw" tab.

Select a Color

The colored square below the radial selector menu denotes the color the draw tool will use. Click the square and then either click one of the colors beside it to match to your current color scheme or click the Other button to select any color.

Add Text

You can add text anywhere on the tooth chart.
  1. Click the Add button below the text box on the right.
  2. Type your desired text in the box that opens and click "OK."
  3. Select the radial button next to Move Text to click and drag your text where you'd like it on the chart.

Draw

Click the radial button next to "Pen." Then, move your cursor to the graphic. Hold the left-click button and drag the mouse to draw.

Erase

Click the radial button next to "Eraser." Then, click on the drawn item you want to erase.

Change Color

Click the radial button next to "Change Color." Ensure the box below the radial buttons shows your intended color. If not, click it and either choose from your current color scheme on the left or select a new color by clicking the Other button. Then, click the drawn item you want to change.
