Insurance History

Insurance History

A patient's history automatically updates in Practice-Web as procedures are completed. Insurance History works the same and is updated as claims are paid. However, you may want to account for benefits a patient has used outside your office, such as with new patients or when you refer to a specialist.

Insurance History

Common procedures such as bitewing x-rays and prophies are typically subject to frequency limitations by insurance plans. To edit a patient's last date of service for these types of procedures:
  1. From inside a patient's insurance plan, click the History button or locate the History grid at the bottom of the insurance plan in the Family Module and double-click it.
